CRÈME YVETTE was listed as an ingredient in a number of vintage cocktails and has been referenced in the following historic works; Fort Wayne News (1898), New York Day By Day article by renowned newspaper columnist O.O. McIntyre (1915), Recipes for Mixed Drinks by Hugo Ensslin (1917), The Home Bartender's Guide and Song Book by Charles Roe & Jim Schwenck (1930), Old Waldorf Bar Days by Albert Stevens Crockett (1931) and The Stork Club Bar Book by Lucius Beebe (1946).
Reviving Crème Yvette was prompted by the rise of contemporary cocktail culture and the desire for bartenders to work with the same tools as their pioneering predecessors.
